I la la LOVE discovering new land to venture to with my amazing husband!

On the day of yester, my husband and I attempted to venture out to one of our absolute favorite natural trails for an early evening miniature hiking adventure.... Well I did not think to bring an extra pair of sneakers but was in my favorite moccasins and did not want to ruin them {or get blisters on me feets!} since it had been raining every freakin' day here in Fort Myers, FL..... So unfortunately we drove allllll the way out there and had to just look at it positively and say "what a beautiful drive we took!" Well years ago when my husband and I commenced our seek for nature trails to venture to, we would just drive/ride until we spotted a brown recreational sign and slam on the brakes I would to stop to see what nature we could get into! And we discovered quite the trails to conquer and recently we have been returning to our daze of wondrous discovery since walking is one of the best exercises ta complete to assist in therapy for a bulging disc that I am unfortunately suffering from..... Well as we were exiting our happy place {Caloosahatchee Regional Park} that we could not venture due to the rain and dirt creating mud, I was at the steering wheel and on our way returning home, I spot a brown sign! It was just like the old daze and BAM! A New trail discovered! The best part, we decide to check it out even with my moccasins.... And it just so happen to mainly be a board walk trail so my moccasins and feets were safe!!! I was so gleeful throughout the areas of the trails we ventured :D my adoring husband made certain to grab the umbrella to hold for me and it was such a wonderful tick tock o' time! We even had a little crab spider join us for a ride on my umbrella! We shall conquer this new trail {Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve} in its entirety when we return on a day with hopeful Sun and clouds! {And of course better shoes!} ♥

Be Yourself!

"Be yourself, not the self of someone else you want to be!"

That quote came from no one, except from my mind. I see, hear, & sense it everyday. People who seem to be lost within their souls do not know how to just be themselves & that upsets me.

They see others & they think: wow I like that, they pull it off good, I wonder if I can, only maybe better.... No you cannot. Only if it is something you have been a part of, not something you just want to become. If not, then find your own something unique, do not take from someone else. If we are all unique in the same way, we will just end up being the same & it will not be known who originated it. When I was younger, I liked certain things & did certain things that I still do today. When you are young, you are developing, learning, & just figuring things about yourself out. Later in life is when you become yourself & change for no one but yourself in a way that is not like another, but who you are supposed to be.

Inspiration is amazing- if it was not for that, maybe other things that were inspired from the original would not have happened, but if it were meant to be it would with or without inspiration.

I love when I find someone in possibly another state which I never met that loves the same things I do, now that is just kick-ass! Simply because you know they are letting their true self shine, not some false image they portrayed because it looked good on someone else. I can usually sort them out.

"Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of being a second-rate version of someone else." -Judy Garland-

"You were born an original, don't die a copy" -John Mason-

My Boudoir photo shoot!

I have a portfolio on MM b/c I have ALWAYS wanted to be a model but never had the balls/mind set to do so..... SO! This year I have decided it was time to try & finally pursue this! I am NOT getting any damn older!
My first legit photo shoot was with a photographer for engagement pictures for my husband & I back in 2010. I only liked about half of the pictures so I was & still am anxious about the whole "modeling" experience..... My husband 100% supports this dream which is a relief. My second experience with a photo shoot was when an owner of an Etsy shop contacted me to pose with her products, she would let me pick & keep said products.... I was tickled red! I could not believe she saw my look & wanted ME to model with her products! So off my husband & I go to the nearest cemetery to get some pictures.... It was so damn exciting & indeed made me feel a little better about myself!
This was my third experience with Angela- she is an awesome person & I cannot wait to partake in more photo shoots! {Her new/vintage lighting was not working properly so we will have to try it again but it was AWESOME & very tastefully done if I must say so myself! ;-}
This is a post my photographer/new found friend posted on her website about my boudoir photo shoot & her experience! It is a damn good one! Go read it ;-)

R*I*P Black Widow- Our youngest baby black kitten 2/19/11

-It is so fucking hard for Mike & I to accept that Black Widow has passed on. She was such a unique & beautiful kitten. Every little thing is reminding us of her & it is going to take a long time to get over this. We pick up her ashes in a couple of days... At least she is no longer suffering but damn well miss her so fucking much.

;( She had heart disease at her tender young age of 4 1/2 months. The value in her heart that was enlarged just kept pumping rapid amounts of fluids into her lungs & the emergency vets did all that they could do. Even if it was caught in time, there may have been nothing that could have been done for her. After $1,500 has been spent on her, we would not have cared if it was a million $, if we could just to have her chasing bottle caps again with her broken meow & just her damn cute ways...

The last time we saw her was about 8 hours ago, laying all bundled up in an oxygen machine, perking up as she saw us enter the room. We had no fucking clue that would be our goodbye. We held such high hopes that she was going to pull through this & if she did have heart disease like the emergency vet thought, she may have been on meds her whole life, but we never expected her to pass on. We are thankful that it happened at the vet & not at home. Finding her dead in our house would have been even more devastating. Our hearts are filled with so much love for animals, even strays we feed outside & it hurts so bad to lose one of our own, even though she was not human, she was our child.

Rest in Peace Black Widow Bircher! We will always honor your spirit, we hope that you will always be with us & your 10 other siblings you left behind. We love you!

Our Halloween Wedding- the good, the bad, & the ugly...

Was amazing!!! There were some things that happened with some people that almost ruined it but all in all it was amazing! My "maid-of-honor" did not show up for the rehearsal dinner with no call, no text, no nothing to let me know. The guy's house we were using, he did not want us to decorate that night so it was all rushed on the wedding day with Mike & some friends- thank the skies for them... My maid of honor tried to turn the tables on me with guilt when it was MY wedding day... she was supposed to drive me around to the spa, makeup, & hair, that did not happen. My husband Mike's, uncle Steve ended up taking me everywhere. When I got to the house to finish getting ready, everyone was running around making sure they were ready & I had to wait to get help putting on my gown- what the hell?! Finally I just started to get it on myself then my Bridesmaid Sierra helped me, then my maid of honor with the shoes & garter. My mummy put on my veil, the photographer took some pictures of us ladies, I tried to sneak a smoke but the side door from the bathroom would not open, I kept sniffing Lavender to help with my nerves, had some whiskey, then it is was showtime! I thought I was going to loose it with crying, throwing up, &/or passing out.... when it was time to walk down the aisle, my brother William talked me out of my pressure & I was okay! Since we did not get to rehearse, my brother nor my daddy knew they were supposed to lift my Mike had to. So the hand-fasting ceremony began!
That was the most amazing part of the ceremony/reception. After we kissed our first kiss as husband & wife, our friends & family yelled "Encore!" SO BE IT, it was the best, most heartfelt kiss! ;-)

At the reception, Mike's parents kept trying to take control of everything... we had to constantly pull them aside & tell them it was our day, our way... later on when it was time for the cake, Mike's mom smashes cake in her husband(Mike's dad)'s face, interrupted my mother's speech & just got too drunk too fast to realize what she was doing/ how she was doing it. Even one of our DJ's pulls Mike aside telling him he was sorry that his own mother could not pull her self together for ONE NIGHT to not show her ass... how embarrasing!
I really wish, like hell, we could have the chance to do everything over again, we would have been smarter about it with getting dance lessons, choosing a wedding party that was actually going to be there for us & help, nailing Mike's parents to a chair, ya know....
So, as it was before, Halloween will be our special party holiday & within a few years, we have decided to have a huge party w/ a DJ, etc., to kinda re-do what was lost at our wedding. When that time comes, if anyone tries to ruin it, I will personally kick sum ass!

On our honeymoon in Key Largo, Tavernier, Marathon- (all the FL keys, except Key West), it was pretty kewl. We had been in Key West before & honestly that is where we should have went. Key Largo is not as exciting as we thought it would be. There is hardly anything fun to do, besides snokling & diving. Not much was open past 5pm, including some restaurants we wanted to go to. Besides, it rained 2 days, then was cold the rest of the time there. We wanted to do so many adventurous things (glass bottom boat, glass bottom bar, snokling in shallow waters, etc.) but it could not happen because of the weather ;-(
My husband Mike gets stung by a bee our last night there. He has been stung MANY times as a child & just the week previous, he got stung. Well he has now become allergic. His arm starts to swell up, his arm pit no longer had a pit, his whole face, neck, ears- red & swollen, lips numb...
So off we go to CVS to get some Benadryl. Thank the skies that worked but it smashed our plans for the last night on our honeymooon. AHH WELL! That is what next year is for!

I love my AMAZING, SEXY, WONDERFUL husband & I am so fucking happy we have FINALLY tied the knot as one, after over 7 years! ;-D

Oh My 79 days!

I am getting that nervous, exciting feeling every thought that goes on in me head, especially if it has to do with our wedding. Besides my kick-ass skull tiara & my gorgeous gown, we still have a lot of creepy goods to order. I will order our toasting flutes & the wedding day cake topper tonight. I just ordered my skull garter, a skeleton bride & groom bust for our head table at the reception & a cake topper for the Bachelor/Bachlorette party! They should be here in about a week. I will have to paint the skeleton bride & groom bust. His rose will be red & the bride bust, I have not decided if I shall paint her hair red & the roses black, or vise versa?!

Ahh! HALLOWEEN is almost here!

I cannot believe there is only 93 days until Halloween! I am damn excited but damn scared all in the same breath! It does not seem like it has been that long ago when My Love Mike got down on one knee near a dimmed lit lamp on the beach & asked me to marry him... but it will soon have been 3 years! When I was a kid, I remember time would tick tock by & I always wanted to be older. Not so anymore! Can I just pause life? It seems to be traveling way to fast, I cannot catch my breath!
Mike & I still have many many things to do before our wedding....hopefully all that jazz will work out soon so I can stop worrying so damn much.
So far, I have my gorgeous gown (red&white= hell yes!), my kick-ass skull tiara, my very unique, dynamite bouquet being worked on, most of our music is picked out, possibly sealing the deal on a place, possible food choice...
I still need bridesmaids that I know, can trust, are real & true, & support our love. I have friends, but I sometimes question what it true & what is false. Mike has to figure out what himself & his groomsmen will wear, I need my maid-of-honor to figure out what she wants to wear so the other ladies can know what colors to wear, we need to finalize the food & place, get those invitations made & mailed, buy all the decor needed, get the marriage license, order the toasting flutes, dj.
I did not realize what a pain in the ass wedding planning is!
